A Brief Overview
As a Sales Consultant, with TriNet you’ll help power business success with extraordinary HR by pursuing new prospects, sharing and quantifying our value proposition, and selling TriNet’s comprehensive solutions. You’ll prospect and build your own book of business for SaaS and ASO in emerging markets, own your opportunities, and execute the sales process. In an effort of exceeding quota, you’ll build pipeline, conduct sales meetings with prospective clients via video conferencing, write proposals, gain approvals, and present those proposals to prospective clients, including C-level executives, business owners and other decision makers in midsize businesses.

What you will do

  • Plan: Develop an annual plan to hit targets in assigned geographical market territories, may cover multiple states and/or regions and manage a diverse portfolio of industries.
  • Prospect: Consistently work on building a balanced pipeline of target prospects through traditional means of prospecting (email, phone, LinkedIn) as well as building and leveraging channel partners and marketing leads to develop referrals and business development opportunities.
  • Value & Consultative Selling: Establish a trusted advisor relationship, both internally at TriNet and within the prospect’s decision-making system, to effectively gain successful business and long-term client relationships.
  • Qualifying opportunities: Strong understanding of target markets and decision-making personas will help to qualify or disqualify quickly.
  • Sales Process: Utilize a sophisticated and multi-step selling process with defined criteria, executive sponsorship and internal business processes.
  • Sales tools and systems: Utilize Sales systems including Salesforce.com, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Zoominfo and quoting tools to efficiently and effectively manage daily activities.
  • Develop Channel Relationships: Rep will develop Channel Relationships such as internal PEO Reps, CPAs, Brokers and other ecosystem partners.
  • Achieve annual quota target by meeting sales activity metrics.
  • Complete all administrative tasks and duties in a timely manner.
  • Demonstrate TriNet’s Core Values daily.
  • Other projects and responsibilities may be added at the manager’s discretion.
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Education Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience preferred

Experience Qualifications

  • Typically 3+ years experience in a closing role multi-stage, inbound, B2B sales cycle role in SaaS, HRO, Cloud, HRIS, ERP, and/or technology.
  • Proven SaaS, HCM and/or ASO experience is ideal.

Travel Requirements
Minimal travel may be expected on occasion.

The salary range for this role is $55,100 to $85,000. The candidate’s final salary offer will be based on the candidate’s skills, education, work location and experience.

Candidates hired into roles in the sales organization are also eligible for commissions consistent with TriNet’s commission plan.
