As the Process Transfer and Lifecycle Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring that cell culture media products are transferred, manufactured and tested as per requirements of customer in compliance with relevant regulations. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the industrialization of products based on the customer product manufacturing specification, creating and approving product / process transfer documentation, managing the materials portfolio and all elements of product manufacturing lifecycle.
What you will accomplish together with us
- Support the global New Product Introduction and Products Transfer Roadmap
- Support in the make or buy analysis for custom product manufacturing
- Review of customer Request for Quotation, and support commercial manufacturing quotations including technical description/specification
- Develop product process requirements and process FMEAs
- Provide multiple Manufacturing Science and Technology functions, such as technical assessments, risk assessments, continuous improvement initiatives and process capability evaluations
- Work with Product Development / Research & Development, Technical Sales and Manufacturing sites during product industrialization phase
- Support the strategy for addition of new material qualification
- Drive optimum Project execution for on-time deliverables completion
- Evaluate and update process design documents
What will convince us
- Bachelor degree in Engineering plus 4 years of experience, Masters degree in Engineering plus 2 years of experience or PhD degree in Engineering
- Experience in a manufacturing environment (pharma, bio-pharma, medical devices or cell culture media) is preferred
- Experience in Cell Culture Media Manufacturing is desired
- Good understanding of process control statistics and risk management methodology
- Good Communication & analytical skills
- Understanding of SAP-PS , MS Visio, MS project
- Great teamwork attitude
- Yellow Belt or PMP certifications are a big plus
- Bilingual (English-Required + German or Spanish)
