Department Overview
The Mobile Video team consists of WatchGuard Video and Vigilant Solutions. Both are wholly owned subsidiaries of Motorola Solutions. WatchGuard is the world’s largest producer of in-car video systems and body-worn cameras specifically designed for the law enforcement market. Vigilant’s product line consists of LPR, Facial Recognition, and Parking. Developed for law enforcement, by law enforcement, Vigilant Solutions has created the most comprehensive online platform for generating investigative leads for law enforcement agencies throughout the world.
Job Description
The Mobile Video team consists of WatchGuard Video and Vigilant Solutions. Both are wholly owned subsidiaries of Motorola Solutions (MSI) is looking to hire a highly motivated individual with a passion for technology and innovative public safety solutions to join our Western US Sales Team as a Solutions Sales Representative. The primary role of this individual will be to sell and represent all our product offerings into Oklahoma and/or Texas. This individual will work closely with operations, finance, support, engineering and our training Client Relations Team (CRT). This individual should possess the ability to effectively present to C+ level executives, multi-task, prioritize, manage their time effectively, and deliver exceptional customer service.
The Sr. Solutions Sales Representative will be responsible but not limited to the following:
- Ability to develop and execute on winning strategy for Texas
- Schedule and lead customer meetings
- Uncovering additional sales opportunities within existing accounts for all offerings
- Identifying and overcoming roadblocks and/or obstacles while keeping a positive attitude
- Ability to resolve product or service-related issues by clarifying the customer’s grievance and channeling those issues to the Mobile Video Support Team
- Regular client follow-ups to ensure “Total Customer Satisfaction”
- Promote extended warranty and maintenance programs to existing, eligible customers
- Ensuring client awareness regarding the usefulness and proper operation of the mobile video products and services that were purchased
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- 2+ years of sales/public safety experience
- Seeking outside sales experience in public safety industry or government agencies
- Competent in both Microsoft Outlook / Google Gmail applications and Salesforce
- The ability for 50%+ travel
Basic Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of sales/public safety experience
