In the role of Account Manager Projects at VELUX Netherlands, your goal is to maintain and expand VELUX’s market share in the Amsterdam region. You think along with customers about all solutions regarding daylight and fresh air. Your target group consists of small contractors.
Your challenges
In this independent and versatile role, you will use your technical and commercial skills to make customers enthusiastic about all VELUX solutions. You will spend a lot of time with prospects, build existing relationships, recruit new customers and achieve sales targets. Together with your team, you will filter relevant information from the market and know how to convert it into actions. You will work with a team of energetic sales colleagues who focus on selling VELUX products in the Netherlands.
Your profile
To be successful in this position, you must have the ability to engage people: you are commercial, have a likeability factor and you know how to communicate effectively at every level.
You are a team player with proven experience in the construction industry:
- Technical knowledge (regarding roofs)
- Preferably experience, but certainly an affinity for sales to the trade and contractors
- Curious, eager to learn and energetic
- 3-5 years of work experience in a commercial environment, preferably construction related
- great empathy and goal and result orientation
- A “deal is a deal” mentality, representative and humorous
- You are proficient in Dutch, both spoken and written, with English as a preference.
