J.E. Brown & Associates seeks an Agency Support Representative for our team.

This is a remote from home position at an hourly rate is between $25.00 and $26.00.

J.E. Brown, a subsidiary of Brown & Brown Insurance, is a managing general agency for retail insurance agents placing property and casualty insurance for businesses and individuals. The firm specializes in offering small business and personal lines property and casualty insurance products to customers in the western United States, primarily in California.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Efficiently and professionally work extremely busy phones and chats.
  • Provide and take pride in providing excellent customer service.
  • Learn and become a specialist on a variety of online processing systems.
  • Learn and become a specialist on many products.
  • Train customers on a variety of online processing systems and products
  • Foster and seek relationships with teammates across all levels of JE Brown and Brown & Brown
  • Ensure compliance with government agencies and corporate policies and procedures.
  • Attend training sessions, courses, etc. to maintain up-to-date skills.
  • Always conduct the highest level of confidentiality
  • Other duties as needed.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

  • Insurance experience is a plus, but we will train you.
  • Some college preferred, not required.
  • Punctuality, dependability
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook
  • Excellent telephone techniques
  • High attention to detail, with little to no errors
  • Excellent time management
  • Proactive, can-do attitude

Pay Range

25.00 – 26.00 Hourly

The pay range provided above is made in good faith and based on our lowest and highest annual salary or hourly
rate paid for the role and takes into account years of experience required, geography, and/or budget for the role.
