Job Description:
We are seeking highly motivated AI.ML Engineers to join our team and help cultivate our scaling AI solutions team. As an AI Engineer, you will be working on solutions that incorporate internal ML / NLP models, foundational and LLM models, and semantic search that expand our AI footprint on the Datasite Platform.
This is a hybrid role; our employees work 2 days per week in our local Heredia office. In-office work days are subject to change at anytime.
Main Responsibilities:
- Develop prompt templates, orchestration chains, and agents using Large Language Models (LLMs) and NLP techniques.
- Collaborate with a cross-functional team of Data Scientists, Engineers, and Product Managers to develop AI-enabled products and features.
- Ensure the delivery of high-quality technical work by writing clean code and implementing sufficient tests.
- Architect and design scalable and maintainable solutions utilizing Python
- Work closely with technical leadership to plan and prioritize software development projects.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent industry experience in mathematics, statistics, machine learning, natural language processing, computer science
- 3+ years experience building services in Python (or similar object-oriented programming languages) and working with projects that follow the Software Development Lifecycle
- Experience (or exposure) with AI and Machine Learning techniques.
- Knowledge of microservices architecture a plus
- Exposure to text mining, Natural Language Processing and Understanding
- Training or work experience in Data Science
- Strong understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle.
- Knowledge of cloud technologies, such as Azure, AWS, Google Cloud or similar.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
- Proficiency in English, both written and verbal, for clear communication and collaboration.
- Passion for Agile methodology with the flexibility to think outside the scrum. You can think on your feet, collaborate with your team and others, and take ownership of your work.
- Commitment to delivering high-quality software. You want to be part of a team dedicated to creating and delivering excellent products.
- Excellent communication skills. This role involves working with a team that innovates together. You will need to listen, engage, and present to external teams and senior project managers confidently.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
- Experience in data handling and data analysis
