About the role
Encouraged to break new frontiers, Business Development at Revolut is at the front line of diversifying and increasing profit for the business as a whole. These teams work across industries and areas to present creative options for new revenue streams.

Responsible for every pitch from inception to delivery, they ensure all new ideas are viable from a business perspective. Though individual specialists are spread across the business, supporting different teams in their growth, they’re aligned as a function in all key areas.

We’re looking for a Business Development Associate to join our Global Business team, driving strategic initiatives across our product portfolio. Ideal candidates will have experience in financial services, fintech, or traditional banking, with roles in partnerships, business development, or relationship management, and are currently at an analyst or associate level.

We value commercial acumen, a passion for product and customer experience, and the ability to deeply understand our offerings. The role involves identifying new opportunities, improving product profitability, and driving projects to successful implementation. We’re looking for a proactive self-starter who thrives on execution and delivering results.

What you’ll be doing

  • Leading engagements with key external stakeholders
  • Managing ongoing workstreams such as relationship management, analysis, meetings, and new initiatives, while escalating critical matters when necessary
  • Supporting the development of product partnerships by scoping opportunities, building business cases, coordinating projects for new initiatives, and maintaining relationships with strategic partners
  • Taking on additional responsibilities outside regular workflows, including identifying opportunities for new products or growth initiatives, and collaborating cross-functionally with internal teams to drive strategic decisions
  •  Collaborating with internal teams to shape and launch new products

What you’ll need

  • 2+ years of experience in relevant industries
  • Demonstrated expertise in partnerships, business development, or relationship management and ability to negotiate deals with third party companies.
  • Exceptional relationship-building and negotiation skills across all seniority levels, with a strategic approach to prioritizing projects and selecting partners.
  • Highly driven, collaborative, and results-oriented—capable of overcoming challenges and closing deals effectively.
  • A solid foundation in analytical thinking and familiarity with tools like Google Sheets, Slides, and Excel
  • Quick learning and adaptability are valued over extensive experience for this role
  • Fluency in English

Nice to have

  • Excellent analytical skills; proficiency in SQL
  • Experience within financial services such as payment networks, fintech platforms, or traditional banking

Compensation range

  • US: $156,750 – $165,000 gross annually*
  • Other locations: Compensation will be discussed during the interview process

*Final compensation will be determined based on the candidate’s qualifications, skills, and previous experience
