Role Description
We are seeking a motivated and talented Summer Software Engineering Intern to join our dynamic team. As an intern at Beeswax, you will have the opportunity to work on meaningful projects that directly impact our products and services. This role is ideal for a student or recent graduate who is eager to learn, grow, and contribute to the success of our team.

Job Responsibilities
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Collaborating with engineers, product managers, and designers on scoped tasks with guidance from senior engineers
Working on small features and contributing to the development of JS/Python applications built on top of APIs that our customers use to configure our systems
Writing clean, efficient, and testable code with an emphasis on readability, edge cases, and error handling
Participating in code reviews and taking feedback to enhance your skills and improve your contributions
Assisting in migrating our existing single-page application to a modern architecture built on React and Redux state management
Contributing to the deployment and release process by following best practices and instructions
Preferred Skills
A solid foundation in logical thinking, quantitative analysis, and software engineering principles
The ability to solve problems independently and seek guidance for more complex tasks
A commitment to learning best practices and following them meticulously
Strong written communication skills, including good naming conventions, appropriate commenting, and clear documentation
An openness to feedback and a desire to continuously improve
The ability to adapt to dynamic team and project requirements while prioritizing tasks effectively
Preferred Majors: Engineering
Minimum Qualifications and Eligibility Requirements
Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree from a United States-based college or university
Rising Junior or Rising Senior only (must have a graduation date between Winter 2025- Spring 2027)
Returning to degree-program (for at least a semester) after the completion of the summer internship (meaning, student must be returning to school for Fall 2025 semester before graduating)
Available to work 40 hours per week over the course of the summer program- June 2 through August 15, 2025
Authorized to work in the United States with no current or future sponsorship needs
Available to report in-person to the work location on the job posting (unless virtual offering)

Compensation
Base Pay: $40.00
Base pay is one part of the Total Rewards that Comcast provides to compensate and recognize employees for their work. Most sales positions are eligible for a Commission under the terms of an applicable plan, while most non-sales positions are eligible for a Bonus.
