Blackbaud’s Global Marketing Center of Excellence is responsible for the end-to-end GTM strategy and execution for our portfolio of solutions, which are grouped by product competencies and market segments. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Content Marketing Manager to join our dynamic marketing team. This role will support our Payments, Online Giving, Data Intelligence, and Peer to Peer Fundraising initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in content marketing, excellent communication skills, and a passion for driving engagement and growth through strategic content initiatives. Key initiatives will include developing thought leadership and a communication strategy. You will work cross-functionally and cross-organizationally to ensure market growth and customer retention.
Key Responsibilities:
- Content Strategy: Develop and execute comprehensive content marketing strategies that align with our product pillar goals. Ensure content is consistent with brand messaging and drives engagement and conversions.
- Content Creation: Produce high-quality, engaging content including blog posts, whitepapers, case studies, webinar topics, social media posts, and email campaigns. Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to gather insights and create compelling content.
- SEO and Analytics: Optimize content for search engines and track performance using analytics tools. Use data-driven insights to refine content strategies and improve ROI.
- Thought Leadership: Establish and maintain thought leadership in the industry by creating and promoting content that showcases our expertise and innovative solutions.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with the product and demand marketing teams as well as sales, product, and customer success teams as needed to ensure content aligns with business goals and supports lead generation and customer retention efforts.
- Content Calendar: Develop and manage a content calendar to ensure timely delivery of content and alignment with key marketing initiatives and product launches.
- Customer Insights: Leverage customer insights and market research to create content that resonates with our target audience and addresses their pain points and needs.
Experience and Skills:
- 5+ years of experience in content marketing, preferably in the technology or nonprofit sector.
- Proven record of thriving in a matrixed environment with the ability to drive initiatives to completion through other people without having direct supervisory responsibility.
- Exceptional ability to conceptualize and create product content; able to write quickly and concisely for non-technical audiences.
- Proven influencing skills with senior leadership, working cross-functionally and with clients/prospects.
- Self-starter, creative thinker, excellent listener, and communicator
- Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Experience with SEO, content management systems, and analytics tools.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in Payments, Online Giving, Data Intelligence, or Peer to Peer Fundraising.
- Knowledge of nonprofit industry trends and challenge
