Brown & Brown is seeking a Digital Asset Specialist for our team in Tampa, Florida.

Orchid Underwriters Agency (Orchid), a member of the Brown & Brown National Programs family.

As a crucial member of the Marketing team, the Digital Asset Specialist works in close collaboration with the Marketing & Communications Manager to design, develop, maintain and optimize all digital assets that fall under the ownership of the Marketing and Communications department. The strategy for these assets is developed in alignment with the department’s goals and priorities, ensuring all initiatives support the broader marketing strategy. In an environment where business needs can shift quickly, this role must also provide immediate support to develop solutions and/or execute asset changes that meet evolving business requirements. These assets include but are not limited to the website, Agent Servicing Portal, Forms, and Marketing Cloud templates.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Collaborates with the Marketing & Communications Manager to align on the strategy and direction for each of the following initiatives before execution
  • Monitor website performance and implement optimizations for faster loading times and lower downtimes.
  • Optimize website content, meta tags, and images for improved search engine rankings, aiming to maintain our excellent google page experience rating.
  • Monitor and report on website traffic and SEO performance using tools like Google Analytics.
  • Conduct user research and usability testing to enhance the overall user experience of the website.
  • Work with designated vendor to ensure that the website meets accessibility standards (WCAG) to accommodate users with disabilities.
  • Create wireframes and mockups to visualize any layout and design revisions for our website and agency servicing portal.
  • Conduct thorough testing to identify and fix bugs, errors and issues before publishing website or portal revisions.
  • Work with Orchid and B&B IT to ensure security compliance.
  • Work with Orchid IT to maintain efficient backend processes.
  • Work with IT and other departments to create APIs to facilitate communication between all of our platforms that interact with marketing assets.
  • Review and correct HTML coding in Marketing Cloud to ensure agent communications display correctly on all devices.
  • Oversee the configuration, management, and maintenance of Marketing Cloud.
  • Maintain our library of forms on Formstack and make sure they function properly.
  • Work with the Marketing & Communications Manager to enact severe weather procedures when moratoriums are issued.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Computer Science, Web Development, or related field; or combination of relative work experience.
  • 3 plus years of proven work experience in web design and development.
  • High proficiency in HTML, CSS, and SQL.
  • Proficient in Sales Force, Formstack, JavaScript
  • Strong familiarity with database queries.
  • Knowledge of and experience with SEO optimization.
  • Must be a self-starter and able to independently move projects forward, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with teammates of all levels.
  • Experience in designing and implementing scalable and maintainable web architectures.
  • High levels of creativity and an eye for design.
  • Strong attention to detail.

Pay Range

65,000.00 – 88,550.00 Annual

The pay range provided above is made in good faith and based on our lowest and highest annual salary or hourly rate paid for the role and takes into account years of experience required, geography, and/or budget for the role.
