The Director – Learning & Development is responsible for delivering and driving the strategic global learning vision and implementation of innovative learning and development initiatives within the organization. This role aims to cultivate a culture of continuous learning, adaptability, and growth, ensuring that the workforce is equipped with the skills and knowledge necessary to thrive in an ever-evolving business landscape. The leader will leverage emerging technologies especially AI and data-driven insights to create impactful learning experiences that align with organizational goals and future workforce needs.

  • Develop and communicate a clear vision for learning and development that aligns with the organization’s strategic objectives.
  • Design and implement innovative learning programs that leverage technology and best practices in adult learning.
  • Assess future skills requirements and create targeted learning initiatives to address gaps and prepare employees for upcoming challenges.
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional development across all levels of the organization.
  • Develop and manage key stakeholder relationships aligning the learning goals and activity to meet the business needs and results
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure learning initiatives are relevant, engaging, and integrated into the organizational culture.
  • Utilize data and analytics to measure the effectiveness of learning programs and make informed decisions for future improvements.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in learning and development to ensure the organization remains competitive.
  • Collaborate and facilitate coordinated efforts with various teams and businesses across India ensuring alignment with global and local objectives.
  • Monitor and manage the transition of roles to the Global Service Delivery including proactively planning and measuring the training and development needs associated with these transitions.

What you need to have:

  • Graduation / post-graduation in any stream
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in Learning & Development
  • Leadership: Ability to guide, motivate, empower and support the team towards achieving business goals. This includes fostering collaboration, building trust, and creating an inclusive environment where team members feel valued and empowered to contribute their best.
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop and articulate a long-term vision for learning that aligns with organizational goals and anticipates future needs.
  • Innovative Mindset: Proficiency in identifying and implementing cutting-edge learning technologies and methodologies to enhance employee engagement and learning outcomes.
  • Change Management: Skills in leading and managing change initiatives, fostering a culture of adaptability and resilience among employees.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships with key stakeholders across departments and effectively communicate learning initiatives and their benefits.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Competence in utilizing data analytics to assess learning program effectiveness and inform strategic decisions.
  • Coaching and Mentoring: Ability to inspire and guide employees in their professional development, fostering a supportive learning environment
