JLL is seeking an experienced and proactive Procurement Leader to join our Sourcing & Procurement team. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and leadership in driving sourcing strategies to execution, improving third party delivery, managing projects and a team while engaging stakeholders and implementing sourcing and procurement practices within the account.  The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker, adept at managing complex processes, and possesses exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.

In this role the Sourcing Leader will:

  • Lead and grow a high-performing S&P team for a large regional/national client.  This includes accountability for effectively managing, mentoring, recruiting, and developing a team of world-class Sourcing and Procurement professionals.
  • Oversee annual sourcing plan development, actively managing that plan with the business, and executing against it.
  • Drive results through S&P program implementation, monitoring progress, managing to operational excellence guideline, AND meeting account level KPIs and goals.
  • Identify risks and opportunities to clients/stakeholders and recommend strategies to achieve company goals while mitigating risk.
  • Partner closely with operations by providing management, detailed instruction and follow up to support the operations teams in standardized RFP/bid and contracting processes.
  • Develop and maintain systematic, analytical, and results-based method for savings, monitoring supplier’s performance, sourcing effectiveness and communicate these results to the business.
  • Continually manage/assess suppliers through the established supplier performance management program.
  • Be subject matter expert in support of JLL sourcing strategies, supplier relationships and program management.
  • Provide impactful leadership in a cross-functional and collaborative environment to drive immediate and sustained benefits to our client and JLL.
  • Establish and maintain relationships within client relationship including but not limited to Account Director, FM Lead, Operations Lead and Finance Director.
  • Establish relationships with key stakeholders including Corporate Legal and Risk Management to ensure all contractual terms and conditions comply with standard or other contract changes are formally reviewed and approved by legal/risk management.
  • Proactively manage internal and external expectations by understanding business needs and priorities.
  • Recruit, develop, rotate, and retain top S&P talent.
  • Support the career development of key roles through mentoring and visible leadership.
  • Create high-performing, integrated sourcing team that is committed to delivering sustainable operational excellence.
  • Manage and coach teams on their performance, progress and developmental goals including analysing strengths, and areas of opportunity for growth into actionable career development plans.

Required Skills:

  • Excellent Inter-personal skills, Organization skills, Strong Analytical Ability, Proven ability to lead teams in decentralized environment.
  • Excellent communication skills – oral and written.
  • Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) from four-year college or university and/or 10 years strategic sourcing or related experience; MBA preferred.
  • Project management and business transitions experience preferred.
  • Excellent PC skills, proficient in MS Office applications

Estimated total compensation for this position:

120,000.00 – 138,000.00 USD per year

The total compensation range is an estimate and not guaranteed. An employment offer is based on an applicant’s education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, internal equity and alignment with market data .
