INTERNAL COMMUNICATIONS EXECUTIVE
UP TO £30,000 (DOE)
The role is a hybrid role, therefore will involve a mix of working from home and also from our Halifax office.
With over 1,000 employees and offices across the UK, including remote workers, our Internal Communications team plays a vital role in keeping everyone connected and informed. We ensure that all employees of all levels are aware of important news, initiatives, and events through a variety of channels.
Joining the Internal Communications team means you’ll be at the forefront of numerous exciting initiatives aimed at enhancing our internal culture and continuing to make Covéa a great place to work.
This is an integral role suited to someone who is naturally enthusiastic, creative, and energised by the value internal communications bring.
What will I be doing?
- Create and deliver internal communications campaigns to effectively distribute information and provide updates regarding key business updates, events, our employee engagement survey and D&I events led by our Community Networks that reflect and reinforce the company’s Values.
- Create and deliver compelling and accurate content, for a variety of internal communications channels including to our Intranet, emails, newsletters and internal collaboration channels.
- Support with admin such as updating posters, maintaining up-to-date distribution lists, overseeing team mailbox, scheduling meetings, events and supporting with live-streamed events.
- Manage our intranet, keeping content fresh, engaging, and relevant to all audiences. Work with key stakeholders to maintain the standard of content and ensure continuous improvement.
- Support maintenance and development of key communication channels, adapting and improving them in line with external trends and business needs.
- Use data and analytics to measure the effectiveness of communications and adjust content accordingly.
- Create design assets, and sometimes videos, within Covéa internal brand using Canva.
You should apply if you have…
- Experience of working in an internal communications or marketing role.
- Experience in delivering creative, engaging and effective internal communication campaigns and programmes.
- Experience of using data to review success or future suggestions of campaigns.
- Proficiency in Office 365 – including good knowledge of SharePoint and Microsoft Teams.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an eye for accuracy and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of email marketing software (e.g. DotDigital) and design tools such as Canva.
- Ability to positively manage stakeholders, we are “can-do” team, so we look for solutions and ways to help our stakeholders reach their goals.
- Skilled at prioritising and managing busy schedules and handling multiple projects.
- Able to build strong relationships with stakeholders across the business, at all levels.
