We are seeking an experienced IT Services Team Lead to own and manage all aspects of our IT function, including help desk support, infrastructure, business applications, network, hardware, and security. You will lead a team of IT Support Specialists, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and implement solutions to improve operational efficiency and security. The ideal candidate will have leadership experience and hands-on expertise in IT support, system administration, and managing IT infrastructure, with a focus on security and compliance (including SOC2 certification).
Key Responsibilities:
- Own and manage the IT function, including infrastructure, security, applications, network, hardware, and cloud, ensuring alignment with business needs and scalability.
- Lead 2+ IT Support Specialists, fostering collaboration, growth, and development.
- Own the company’s security posture, manage security tools, and ensure SOC2 compliance, including driving the certification process, implementing controls, and conducting audits.
- Develop and enforce IT policies that ensure security, operational efficiency, and compliance.
- Oversee and optimize IT infrastructure, ensuring high availability and security.
- Partner with teams to assess IT needs, plan for future requirements, and create long-term technology strategies.
- Manage IT support services, set priorities, and track KPIs to improve service delivery.
- Ensure secure integration and operation of key platforms (e.g., Google Workspace, Slack).
- Oversee IT asset procurement, upgrades, decommissioning, and ensure asset security.
- Ensure secure remote work setups and compliance with security policies.
- Manage access control tools (e.g., Azure AD) to ensure secure user access to systems and data.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of IT leadership in a fast-growing company, with 5+ years in IT support/system administration.
- Proven experience managing IT infrastructure, security, and applications at scale.
- Experience with SOC2 certification, including security controls, audits, and compliance.
- Knowledge of security tools and frameworks, including SOC2.
- Experience developing and enforcing IT policies for security and operational efficiency.
- Proficiency in databases (MySQL, MSSQL), scripting (PowerShell, Python, Bash), and enterprise tools (Google Workspace, Microsoft 365).
