Joshin Consultant – Contracted

We are seeking a qualified Consultant in Canada to join our staff and providers who specialize in disability and neurodivergent support for individuals navigating barriers and obstacles at work and life. This role combines virtual navigation and regional expertise to help members achieve their personal and professional goals.

This opportunity is a sole proprietorship contract role with a commitment of 10-15 hours per week, offering flexible scheduling and the ability to work remotely.

What You Will Do:

Content Creation & Maintenance (45%)

• Review member-facing content in marketing, videos, training modules, and articles to ensure proper translation to French Canadian language.
• Support audits of existing content and member outreach in English or French Canadian.
• Development of future content that reflects member-specific needs in Canada.

Navigation Support (30%)

• Assist members in identifying and accessing appropriate resources and services, completing province-specific, not-for-profit, or other referrals inside of Joshin and beyond.
• Provide culturally competent, community-affirming, and empathetic care aligned with Joshin’s values of amplifying every voice and leading with intention.
• Work closely with Joshin’s broader member operations and support teams to ensure coordinated, personalized care for the organizations and members we serve.

Regional Guidance (25%)

• Serve as a regional expert and advisor on Canada-specific considerations as Joshin expands beyond the United States.
• Remain up to date on and communicative of applicable policies and regulations that may affect the disability and neurodivergent communities, including Joshin’s members.
• Advise on best practices and routes forward for expansion as Joshin’s membership grows from province to province.

• Representation within and/or deep experience working with the disability and/or neurodivergent communities.
• Adaptable across various life, career-related, and/or health & wellness-related challenges addressing the multi-dimensional needs of our membership.
• Comfortable with technology and competent in telehealth.
• A natural advocate, committed to quality.
• Desire to grow and expand your capabilities.
• Ability to work independently while engaging in team collaboration as needed.
