As a Key Account Representative, you will play a vital role in supporting the merchandising and sales efforts of the organization. You are responsible for the merchandising and sales required for the achievement of regional budgetary goals, assisting in the implementation of strategies, and driving revenue growth. You will also:

  • Drive sales through additional off-shelf orders and placements, modular integrity, planned features execution.
  • Manage and minimize End of Season Returns where applicable meeting goals and objectives.
  • Develop relationships across customer retail outlets including professional communications and conduct with key decision makers such as Market and Store Managers at Wal-Mart stores.
  • Provide quality market intelligence on daily basis.
  • Possess excellent customer service skills.
  • Provide product knowledge and training for water testing system at various customer locations.
  • Coordinate and attend sales promotional events which may occur on weekends too.
  • Complete end of season returns within guidelines safely and within set deadlines.
  • Manage assigned store list and implement sales and service objectives efficiently within guidelines.
  • Increase and maximize sales, develop professional relationships across customer retail outlets including professional communications and conduct with key customers and decision makers.
  • Provide market intelligence reports including competitive activity, retail pricing survey.
  • Provide product knowledge training and support on water testing solutions at hardware stores as needed.
  • Coordinate and attend sales promotional events. Some weekends may be required.
  • Complete administrative work and reports per guidelines. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Degree qualified or equivalent experience
  • Experience of working with Wal-Mart is highly desirable
  • Experience working on Microsoft platforms, such as Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of how a pool works would be highly desirable
  • Travel will be required around 50%
  • You will also need to be able to lift 50lbs, mostly due to moving stock if needed
  • You will be out on the road most of the days, so comfortable driving on a very regular basis
  • You will be required to travel around Texas but potentially to other states as well

Ideally, we are looking for someone based in Dallas or San Antonio, though candidates from anywhere in Texas are welcome to apply. This role requires statewide travel, so you should be prepared for long periods of time on the road.
