The Manager, Operations Technology Cyber & Support Lead role is responsible for managing our Operations Technology Managed Service Partner (OT MSP) along with providing strategic leadership on our OT Cyber roadmap and implementation plans. The Cyber & Support Manager is a new, but critical role at Campbell. Campbell has been on a long journey to enhance, update, and maintain it’s cyber maturity posture while also enhancing it’s overall enterprise support for all our plant locations.

The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge and experience in the manufacturing plant floor. This would include equipment control, electrical design, software application development for key vendors such as Rockwell Automation and Aveva/Wonderware SCADA applications. The candidate would also have knowledge of modern network architecture concepts within the manufacturing space. A background and understanding of IT systems, best practices, and policies is also preferred.

In this role you will report to the Director – Electrical & Controls Engineering

Essential responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Manage Campbell OT MSP across the entire enterprise. 24 plant locations across North America.
  • OT MSP Responsibilities include the following:
  • Direct ownership and management of OT MSP vendor.
  • Co-Lead monthly and quarterly Governance reviews of the OT MSP vendor.
  • Lead and review the KPI’s of the OT MSP vendor.
  • Lead and drive progress in each OT MSP Service Delivery Function.
  • Lead and manage Campbell annual Process Control Standard assessments.
  • Manage direct report responsible for OT Industrial Ethernet standards.
  • Manage OT MSP team and coordinate with Campbell’s Engineering and IT OT Cyber teams.
  • Lead and investigate new and innovative technologies in the Manufacturing space.
  • Identify Industry best practices and set strategic direction on how and where to implement them.
  • Participate in cross functional Engineering and IT teams responsible for OT Cyber Standards, Application Refresh Standards, and OT Cyber Governance.
  • Contributes to the development and maintenance of electrical design and controls programming standards and principles.
  • Provide schedules, project authorization documents, cost controls, development of RFPs as needed for area of responsibility.
  • Coordinate and review contractor and vendor activity and interface with plant personnel insuring customer satisfaction and compliance to policies.
  • Drives the evaluation of new technology and tools relevant to area of responsibility.
  • Identify innovative technical solutions for both existing and future manufacturing systems and develops strategies that deliver automated, repeatable, and standardized processes
  • Stakeholder facing role ensuring Service Support and Service Delivery processes are in place to meet business needs.
  • Monitor, control, and support service delivery; ensuring systems, methodologies and procedures are in place and followed.
  • Identify opportunities for improved cost controls, awareness and oversight
  • Owner of the Incident, Request, Change and Escalation processes for the OT MSP Service Area, ensuring high levels of performance in these processes, accurate reporting and establishing service improvement activities.
  • As owner of the escalation process the Service Delivery Manager will take ownership of major incidents to ensuring coordination of resolving parties, effective communication to stakeholders and post incident review.
  • Drive service review meetings as to performance, service improvements, quality, and processes.
  • Coordination of internal and partner resources for OT MSP initiatives and projects.
  • Maintain and provide technical oversight and adherence to all Service Management disciplines.

Job Complexity:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or computer science required. Electrical Engineering discipline desired.
  • Minimum of 7 years’ experience as an engineer in the food or beverage industry highly desired.
  • Has proven track record of effectively managing and implement medium to highly complex, multi-functional projects that could range from $750,000 to $3,500,000
  • Effective communication and presentation skills
  • Effectively track schedule, cost, and convey information in a timely and effective manner.
  • Experience with Rockwell/Allen-Bradley and Aveva/Wonderware suite of products with a strong fluency in both
  • Must be able to work confidently with thin client technology utilized in a manufacturing environment
  • Must have demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to perform in a matrix team-based environment.
  • Thorough understanding and direct experience in the design and development of complex, and automated high-volume manufacturing systems.
  • Must have the ability to prepare functional specifications for integrated controls systems.
  • Ability to understand and analyze complex controls systems is a must.
  • Must have AutoCAD and MS Office proficiency.
  • Must possess skill in the area of SharePoint and other Web enabled toolsets
  • Travel 10-15% possible.

We are looking for the following abilities and skills:

  • Education Required:   Bachelor’s degree

Experience Required:

  • 5-10 years’ Manufacturing experience working in manufacturing setting.
  • Experience as a service manager preferred
  • Experience managing direct report resources

Working Conditions:

  • Anticipated travel of up to 20%-25% which may include the following:
  • World Headquarters (WHQ) Office, and Manufacturing Plants (Campbell Soup Company (CSC)).
  • The primary focus of the job is in the production environment; thus, the work exposes the employee to food products requiring the use of personal protective equipment.
  • Ability to walk/stand up at times for up to ¾ of the workday.
  • Physical ability to handle weights of up to approximately fifty (50) pounds.

Compensation and Benefits:

The target base salary range for this full-time, salaried position is between

$85,900-$140,800
