NOC Technician (Overnight Shift and Weekends)

We are looking for a dedicated NOC Technician to monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot our client’s wired and wireless network systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT networking, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work overnight shifts and weekends.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Network Analysis and Troubleshooting:
    • Analyze, troubleshoot, and evaluate existing wired and wireless network systems.
    • Perform routine network maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
  • Technical Support:
    • Handle repairs and exchanges of defective devices by opening support cases with vendors.
    • Provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to network systems.
  • Inventory Management:
    • Maintain an accurate inventory of network hardware and software assets.
    • Keep records of network configurations and changes.
  • Monitoring and Reporting:
    • Monitor network performance and identify potential issues.
    • Prepare and maintain documentation on network configurations, maintenance schedules, and incidents.

Qualifications:

  • Education and Experience:
    • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in IT networking or related fields.
    • Experience with network monitoring and help desk support is required.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Fundamental knowledge of networking, hardware, and software.
    • Proficiency with network monitoring tools and techniques.
    • Familiarity with troubleshooting wired and wireless network systems.
  • Certifications:
    • CCNA certification or higher is preferred or demonstrated equivalent experience.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Strong ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
    • Excellent troubleshooting and critical thinking skills.
    • Detail-oriented with a commitment to meeting deadlines.
