Solenis is looking for a talented and experienced marketing professional to join our European marketing team as a Nordic Marketing Portfolio Manager for Infection Prevention, Personal Care, Paper, and Pool products. This position is part of our team expansion following the integration with Diversey, and it offers a unique opportunity to manage product portfolios and support regional business operations across Denmark, Sweden, and Finland.

About Your Role:

As a Nordic Marketing Portfolio Manager, you will manage and lead the innovative IP/PC/Paper, Water, and Pool cluster portfolios for the Nordics. You will be responsible for driving growth and profitability through New Product Development, product lifecycle management, and activation of all new product introductions and innovations within your market. This role can be based anywhere across the Nordics, with up to 10% travel expected, including occasional visits to our offices in Stockholm, Vedbæk, and Helsinki.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the IP/PC/Paper, Water & Pool portfolio for the Nordics, ensuring implementation and delivery with excellence.
  • Develop and promote portfolio plans in collaboration with other sectors.
  • Actively participate in European IP/PC/Paper, Water & Pool Solutions project teams to drive new innovations and propositions.
  • Monitor and manage the product life cycle, driving improvements in sales and profitability through portfolio mix optimizations and innovation rollouts.
  • Localize and develop product support and marketing collateral materials, liaising with local sales organizations to present programs, activities, and new product introductions.
  • Ensure a high standard of execution and delivery across all projects.
  • You will have the chance to work with a dynamic and experienced European Marketing team in a varied and interesting role in a complex industry. You will also have the opportunity for constant interaction with other Nordics and European Marketing Teams, including the chance to work on pan-European projects.
  • You will interact with the Nordics daily and spend approximately 20-30% of your time traveling for customer visits, with a minimum of two trips per month.

About You:

  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business, marketing, accounting, economics, finance, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience as a Marketing Professional (e.g., in portfolio management, trade marketing, brand management). Experience with technological cleaning solutions is a plus.
  • Experience in B2B Marketing and managing both projects and innovation launches.
  • If you are experienced in Operational Marketing with a focus on roll-outs, this role will be a great fit for you.
  • A strong marketing background with a track record of developing, launching, and managing marketing campaigns.
  • The ability to understand the local competitive landscape and transform it into pricing/promotional activities.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills with both frontline colleagues and senior managers/stakeholders.
  • The ability to motivate individuals and teams within the organization.
  • Resilience, relentless drive, and tenacity with an Agile problem-solving mindset.
  • The ability to take ownership and initiative.
  • Energy, willingness to learn, and grit to succeed.
  • Proficiency in English, with Danish, Swedish, and Finnish languages preferred and used.
  • Based in the Nordics (Denmark, Sweden, Finland).
