We’re on the lookout for a Product Manager to join our Product, Insight & Control team here at Covéa Insurance.

Product, Insight & Control lead on product development, enhancement and governance across all Covéa Insurance products, by working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders. We ensure our products are market proximate, competitive, comply with legislation, provide custmer value and are profitable.
This role requires an individual with strong experience of the insurance industry who will ensure our product portfolio remains profitable and competitive whilst offering value to our customers.
The role is ahybrid role, therefore will involve a mix of working from home and also from our Halifax office.
What will I be doing?
- Working collaboratively with key stakeholders across the business on both new and existing product propositions, along with managing relationships with several add-on suppliers.
- Supporting the development of new products and existing products in line with the overall company strategy and working closely with key stakeholders across the business.
- Leading small project groups, researching activity, engaging stakeholders and driving change for new and existing products.
- Keeping abreast of relevant trends, technology and new markets to support and inform the future development of products.
- Ownership of positive and beneficial relationships with several add-on product suppliers.
- Working with the wider Product team to conduct periodic reviews of existing products. These reviews, in line with PROD4 regulation, will ensure that our products offer fair value to customers.
What would we like to see in you?
- Experience in insurance technical aspects (underwriting, claims, compliance) alongside knowledge of UK regulatory frameworks & various insurance products (Life, Pet, Commercial Lines, Personal Lines, Creditor).
- Excellent communication skills – able to influence & build effective relationships at all levels
- Strong planning, organisational & prioritisation skills, with the ability to meet tight deadlines
- Be decisive, assertive, & capable of driving change & challenging existing practices.
- Ability to set up, document & get buy-in to new processes & procedures
- Experience in report writing, project management & data analysis
- Be a self-starter who drives change, meets commitments & works with minimal direction
- Ability to manage tasks from start to finish, proactively collaborating with colleagues
- Be comfortable with ownership of delivery, prioritising tasks based on business objectives
- Be driven by excellence, displaying attention to detail & accuracy
- Be collaborative, open to new ideas & able to engage others across teams
- Be an innovative problem solver, managing stakeholder input to reach outcomes
