About The Role
We are looking for a Product Operations Manager/Lead to build and scale our product operations function. As the first hire in this area, you will lay the foundation for how we operationalize and optimize our product GTM, tools, product processes, and cross-functional collaboration. You will play a critical role in ensuring our product teams have the right systems, processes, and information to make data-driven decisions and drive impactful outcomes.The Product Operations Team sits within the Central Product Organization and is a critical enablement function for the Product teams. Product Ops has several thematic areas of responsibility:
- GTM enablement
- Tools and process enablement
- Knowledge management
You will operate as the right-hand person to the Chief Product Officer, helping with the day to day running of the product division, and are also a strong partner to our colleagues in Sales, Marketing, and Operations in addition to the product teams. You also work closely with our Product Data Analytics team, also sitting in the Product organization.
What you’ll be doing
- Process Optimization: Establish and refine product management and development processes to improve efficiency, communication, and alignment across teams.
- Tooling & Systems: Identify, implement, and manage tools that enhance product operations, including roadmapping, knowledge management and communication, feedback collection, and analytics platforms.
- GTM Enablement: Facilitate alignment between product, marketing, sales, and customer success teams to ensure smooth execution of product launches and GTM. Specifically ensuring:
- Aspects of the GTM market are defined as part of product definition
- Product have delivered the required outputs needed by other departments (eg Marketing) in time for GTM planning
- Post-launch activities and review are coordinated
- There is guidance and a defined process from product definition to post launch for GTM.
- Strategic project support for the Chief Product Officer, helping to organise workshops, retreats, and the roadmapping process.
- Knowledge Management: Develop systems to document and disseminate key product insights, decisions, and best practices across the organization.
- Data & Insights: Support the product analytics team to help ensure they have what they need to deliver actionable insights about our products.
What you’ll bring to the role
- Experience: 5+ years in product operations, product management, program management, or a related field within a product-led organization.
- Process-Oriented: A track record of designing and implementing scalable product processes and workflows.
- Tool Proficiency: Experience with product management and analytics tools such as Dovetail, hotjar, Mixpanel, and Coda.
- Communication & Influence: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Problem-Solving Mindset: Ability to identify inefficiencies and proactively drive improvements that enhance team performance and product impact.
- Customer-Centric Approach: Passion for enabling product teams to build products that truly meet customer needs.
- Analytical Skills: Strong ability to collect, analyze, and present data-driven insights to influence product decision-making.
