Are you a results-oriented and people-oriented manager who can inspire his team to get the best out of themselves? Someone who gives the team direction in successfully implementing the commercial strategy and is close to the team to support the professional development of your people. Your decisiveness gets people moving and together you ensure that the ambitious sales plans are realized.

What are you going to do?

Together with your team of 5 account managers, 2 inside sales colleagues and 2 technical trainers, you draw up the annual plans, focused on the target group of contractors. You coach, guide and motivate the team so that the relationship with the target group is further strengthened and expanded. You focus on commitment, motivation, quality and of course on sales targets. You do this in a structured manner, whereby you understand the dynamics with the contractor like no other. In this position, you take a hands-on and active role and regularly work together with your colleagues.

Together with your colleagues from operations, marketing and after sales you ensure the continuous improvement of the customer experience. You report directly to the Director of VELUX Netherlands.

Who are you?

You have a strong commercial focus, you are enterprising and have the ability to quickly bind people to you.

In addition you have;

  • Commercial HBO work and thinking level
  • Earned your spurs in the construction industry with high-quality products
  • Experience in contracting and/or building materials trade, working in an international organization and structuring sales processes
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a people manager of a medium-sized team
  • Good oral and written skills in English

VELUX Nederland BV has been the sales and marketing organisation of the VELUX Group in the Netherlands since 1988, where approximately 80 employees currently work. Our office with Daylight Advice Centre in De Meern is the base for all activities. The account managers and service engineers work throughout the country.

VELUX Netherlands is a fully autonomous subsidiary of the VELUX Group, which is part of VKR Holding A/S, a public limited company wholly owned by non-profit foundations (the VELUX FOUNDATIONS) and family.
