The Subscriptions & Payments team works at the intersection of several key, company-wide initiatives, collaborating extensively across functions to enhance payment systems for enterprise-level and self-serve products. Our mission is to develop and expand billing infrastructures with speed and precision, crafting solutions that are not only robust and scalable but also tailored to facilitate Webflow’s growth while anticipating and meeting the evolving needs of our customers.
We are currently seeking a seasoned Senior Frontend Engineer to join the Subscriptions & Payments team. This role is pivotal in leading and executing strategic projects aimed at augmenting and scaling our frontend experience for critical checkout and upgrade flows. You’ll be working to design ergonomic methodThe focus is to build strong pricing and packaging foundations for Webflow as we scale up product led growth (PLG) while growing enterprise business.

- The cash compensation for this role is tailored to align with the cost of labor in different geographic markets. We’ve structured the base pay ranges for this role into zones for our geographic markets, and the specific base pay within the range will be determined by the candidate’s geographic location, job-related experience, knowledge, qualifications, and skills.

- Zone B: $149,000 – $205,000
- Zone C: $139,000 – $192,000

- Reporting to the Senior Engineering Manager.
As a Senior Frontend Engineer, you’ll:
- Write performant and accessible User Interfaces that power the Webflow visual design experience.
- Work on technologies such as React,js, Javascript/Typescript, HTML, and CSS.
- Demonstrable solid experience and deep expertise in at least one technical domain.
- Contribute to building and executing on functional strategy.
- Lead projects that directly contribute to team and engineering organization’s deliverables.
- Produce and elevate the quality of maintainable, tested, performant, and scalable code.
- Author, collaborate on, and evaluate design documents.
- Influence technical designs and team-level prioritization as well as participate in technical solutions.
- Collaborate product managers and designers in an autonomous, supportive team environment.
- Mentor junior engineering in technical skills and Webflow culture.
- Participate in engineering citizenship activities such as co-authoring engineering blogs, strengthening and improving our hiring processes, and leading internal hackathon teams.

About you
You’ll thrive in this role if you:
- Have 5+ years of experience working as a FE/UI engineer with a proven track record of shipping code.
- Are proficient in advanced React and CSS patterns.
- Have a deep, foundational understanding of Javascript and/or Typescript.
- Experience with testing frameworks (e.g. Jest, Mocha, Playwright, Cypress)
- Treat web accessibility as a top priority.
- Have experience working with a fast paced, highly collaborative, and cross-functional team.
- Are comfortable working in an agile, safe-to-fail, environment.
