This is a hybrid office position based out of Bangalore, India.
The Senior Manager of the Oracle Supply Chain Management (SCM) Cloud is responsible for the administrative, functional, and technical activities required to support Supply Chain operations on Oracle Cloud. This role is accountable for the IT team that delivers business value from Oracle SCM Cloud applications and infrastructure. This person manages the people responsible for the stability, effectiveness, and efficiency of Oracle SCM Cloud systems and solutions at Calix.
The Senior Manager, Oracle SCM Cloud leads regional resources to support Calix global business teams. The role requires availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays to support period close activities, non-production refreshes, patches, and upgrades when needed. The ideal candidate will have previous experience managing an Oracle team that supports a North American organization that is Sarbanes Oxley compliant and operates internationally.
The successful candidate will be highly collaborative and operate in a fast-paced, rapidly growing environment. Not only will they build and develop their teams, but they will also need to be hands on, self-motivated and take the initiative to solve problems, automate manual effort and continuously improve.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Lead a team of talented professionals to deliver reliable solutions leveraging Oracle SCM Cloud.
- Partner with key stakeholders and business leaders.
- Work closely with analysts and business teams to gather requirements for reports, integrations, customizations, and enhancements.
- Collaborate with executives, peers, and other application owners.
- Facilitate working sessions with business and technical teams.
- Support business transformation through continuous system improvement.
- Develop technical design and documentation for data conversions, interfaces, custom reporting, and custom applications including use of documented revision control.
- Participate in the design, development, and maintenance of conversions, modifications/customizations, and interfaces to/from Oracle applications.
- Drive the resolution & troubleshooting of issues during development and postproduction support.
- Design, document and perform unit testing to validate product functionality.
- Develop an understanding of a client’s current state process and propose future state recommendations.
- Advise stakeholders on options, risks, and any impacts on other processes or systems.
- Plan and communicate system patches, refreshes, and upgrades to all teams.
- Oversee Oracle Service Request management and escalate priority issues.
- Ensure SOX compliance by managing controls and facilitating audits.
- Travel up to 10% for in-person collaboration and leadership events.
Lead and direct the following phases of the system life cycle:
- Gather business requirements through business process workshops.
- Analyze, design, configure and develop solutions leveraging Oracle SCM Cloud applications.
- Lead Conference Room Pilots (CRP) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for key initiatives.
- Prepare production deployments including cut-over support and post-production support.
Required:
- Overall 10+ years of experience in Oracle SCM applications including Order Management, Distributed Order Orchestration, Product Management, Pricing, Inventory, Supply Planning, and Demand Management.
- 5+ years of experience managing a team of Oracle professionals.
- 2+ years of experience working with Oracle SCM Cloud.
- 2+ years of experience working with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.
- Experience with executing implementation strategy including capturing business and systems requirements, analyzing and refining requirements, preparing functional specification documents, designing solutions, prototyping concepts, testing, and training team members.
- Ability to configure Oracle Cloud applications to meet business requirements and document application setups.
- Experience supporting end to end business processes (Quote to Cash, Procure to Pay, Record to Report, and Return to Repair).
- Experience with implementation and support of Oracle SCM Modules (OM, Inventory, Procurement, Enterprise Contracts, Supply Planning, GOP, Installed Base).
- Experience with integration of SCM modules and ERP/Finance modules.
- Good understanding of technical architecture of SCM modules.
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Preferred:
- Experience with Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) Cloud, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Cloud, and Supply Chain Management (SCM) Cloud.
- Experience with Revenue Management Cloud Service (RMCS).
- Experience with B2B integrations using EDI on OpenText and Ariba Network.
- Experience with Oracle Analytics Cloud Service (OACS), Oracle Integration Cloud Service (OICS), and SOA Suite Cloud Service (SOACS).
- Experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (DBaaS, IaaS, and PaaS).
- Experience achieving SOX compliance at an organization that operates internationally.
- Experience working with multiple currencies in the Quote to Cash process.
- Experience with Vertex or similar tax calculation solutions that integrate with Oracle Fusion.
Education, Certifications and Professional Licenses:
- Required: Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Computer Science or similar.
- Preferred: Oracle Cloud Certification.
