To develop a robust sales pipeline and secure new business opportunities that align with the American Express GBT growth strategy, focusing on enterprise clients.
What You’ll Do
- Identify and establish relationships with new enterprise clients through ethical sales methods and compelling propositions.
- Influence decision-making processes to support the new business program.
- Collaborate with internal teams to optimize the sales strategy, ensuring high-quality service and customer satisfaction.
- Demonstrate confidence and assurance in managing key projects and high-stakes negotiations.
- Take responsibility for organization and planning, both internally and externally.
- Communicate effectively with senior management, including boardroom presentations.
- Present data and insights analytically and persuasively to various stakeholders.
- Embody the Amex GBT values of honesty and trust.
- Monitor and report on market trends and competitor activities, providing relevant insights.
- Plan and prioritize sales activities and client interactions to achieve business objectives, managing personal time and productivity effectively.
What We’re Looking For
- Current or previous experience in business travel industry – travel management company TMC, airline, hotel in B2B environment.
- Preferably experience in sales or account management role within business travel in the last 5-years.
- Proven track record in managing, or leading enterprise -level client travel program profiles in the professional services sector.
- Ability to identify new business opportunities and develop strategic plans to secure them.
- Experience in high-level boardroom negotiations and delivering sales presentations to senior executives.
- Extensive knowledge of business planning and development.
- Proficiency in data interpretation and presentation.
- Experience in preparing, managing, and closing complex negotiations.
- Demonstrated track record of achievement in sales and project management.
- Competent in addressing issues and applying creative solutions.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills to develop profitable and sustainable business relationships.
