This position fills a critical gap in our client’s team, addressing the long-standing need for dedicated social media management and implementing systematic content strategies. We are seeking a Social Media Content Specialist to develop and maintain a structured approach to content creation and community engagement, allowing our client to focus on their core speaking and media appearances while ensuring their social media presence grows consistently and effectively.
The Impact you’ll make
Content Creation & Management

• Create and edit content using existing media materials
• Design visually appealing posts using CapCut and Canva
• Maintain a consistent posting schedule across platforms
• Transform media appearances into engaging social content

Community Engagement

• Respond to followers and maintain an active community presence
• Monitor comments and messages across platforms
• Engage with relevant accounts to increase visibility
• Build and nurture community relationships

Strategy & Growth

• Track engagement metrics and adjust strategy accordingly
• Identify trending topics relevant to the client’s expertise
• Research and implement best practices for growth
• Develop and maintain content calendars

Content Planning

• Schedule posts using Later platform
• Coordinate content calendar with client’s appearances
• Plan content themes aligned with the client’s brand
• Create a systematic approach to content distribution

Additional Support

• Assist with research for documentary projects
• Support potential recruitment initiatives for specialized roles
• Maintain an organized digital assets library
• Provide administrative support as needed

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Required:

• Minimum 1 year experience in social media content creation
• Proficiency in CapCut and Canva
• Experience with content scheduling tools (Later)
• Proven track record of growing social media engagement
• Strong writing and communication skills in English
• WFH Set-Up:
  • Computer with at least 8GB RAM, an Intel i5 core processor/AMD Ryzen 5 Processor and up.
  • Internet speed of at least 40MBPS
  • Headset with an extended mic that has noise cancellation and a webcam
  • Back-up computer and internet connection
  • Quiet, dedicated workspace at home

What to expect…

Work Setup:

• Remote position
• Must have a reliable internet connection and a quiet workspace
• Required to provide own computer with Intel Core i5 or something similar or higher operating system

Working Hours:

• Flexible schedule: Either 9 AM to 1 PM OR 6 PM to 10 PM EST (Eastern Standard Time)
• 4 hours per day / 20 hours per week

Compensation:

• $7 per hour
• No benefits package included
