As a Business Intelligence Engineer for the Blink-CS team, you will own the end-to-end development of critical reporting and analysis. You will build effective reports, maintain a Tableau repository, and ensure data accuracy while contributing to projects that address complex business challenges. This individual will have the opportunity to quickly have an impact and use cutting-edge analytic techniques to find trends in the data and then work across multiple departments to improve the customer experience. A successful candidate will be a motivated self-starter who can work in a fast-paced environment.
Key job responsibilities
* Owning reporting development and maintenance for all Blink-CS derived reports
* Performing ad hoc analysis to get to the root cause of statistical anomalies
* Acting as the administrator of the Blink-CS portion of the Tableau server
* Build and maintain ETLs for the Blink-CS data warehouse
* Optimize data structures and tables within the data warehouse for speed and accuracy of reporting
* Building forecasts to support workforce planning and ensuring staffing needs
Basic Qualifications
– 10+ years of professional or military experience
– 5+ years of SQL experience
– Experience programming to extract, transform and clean large (multi-TB) data sets
– Experience with theory and practice of design of experiments and statistical analysis of results
– Experience with AWS technologies
– Experience in scripting for automation (e.g. Python) and advanced SQL skills.
– Experience with theory and practice of information retrieval, data science, machine learning and data mining
Preferred Qualifications
– Experience working directly with business stakeholders to translate between data and business needs
– Experience managing, analyzing and communicating results to senior leadership
