The job in a nutshell
As a key member of the Data team, you’ll be responsible for architecting, coordinating and supporting the data reporting needs of a large number of teams in our organization and help them become more data-driven. In addition, you will also help create data products that will delight our clients, collaborating directly with our product team.
This position has a very wide impact in the organization, is very visible, and is expected to operate with a high level of autonomy.
You’ll spend time on the following
- Creating and maintaining dashboards in our analytics tool
- Triaging reporting requests from different departments
- Creating and maintaining dbt models
- Creating and maintaining data ingestion and transformation pipelines
- Training data champions across the company (power users that self-serve in our analytics tool)
- Creating data products that will be visible directly by our clients
Here’s what we’re looking for
- You are inspired by our mission to place 1 billion people in dream jobs

- Very good command of SQL and Python
- Previous experience with DBT
- Previous experience with Holistics or Looker (they both use similar languages: AQL or LookML)
- Skilled in data warehouse permissions and overall access governance
- Experience working with version control (GitHub)
- Good at stakeholders management, organizing requests from different departments in a highly dynamic environment
- A highly collaborative person, with a go getter attitude that can thrive with little direction
- Excellent communication skills with ability to articulate complex concepts in plain English
We typically expect candidates with at least 4+ years of experience in a Senior data position to have the skills mentioned above.
Bonus points if …
- You are a software engineer. It comes in handy when working on the productization of our data products such as Embedded Analytics, or Machine Learning and AI products.
