We are looking for an experienced Frontend Staff Engineer, specialized in building user-facing applications at scale. As a technical leader, you will play a crucial role in defining the frontend architecture of our products, while guiding other engineers on the team. You will collaborate with the product, design and backend teams to deliver high-quality solutions and exceptional user experiences.

The opportunity:

  • Define the technical architecture and best practices for frontend applications, ensuring their scalability and maintainability
  • Design and implement critical and complex functionalities of user-facing applications and internal tools
  • Act as a mentor and technical guide to other team members, promoting their development and growth
  • Collaborate closely with engineers, product partners, designers and stakeholders to align technical vision with business objectives
  • Ensure code quality through rigorous code reviews and use of testing best practices
  • Promote and adopt new technologies and methodologies that improve product efficiency and quality
  • Actively participate in solving complex problems and continuously improving development processes

Who we are looking for:

  • Degree in computer science or equivalent experience
  • 8+ years of experience designing and building large-scale applications
  • Excellent coding skills and solid understanding of architectural patterns in large scale applications
  • Expertise with ReactJS and TypeScript at scale. Experience in native mobile development (iOS/Android with or without React Native) is a plus
  • In-depth understanding of design systems, responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility
  • Expertise in using RESTful and GraphQL APIs to interact with backend services
  • Experience in writing unit and end-to-end tests, using well-established frameworks and libraries
  • Track record of successfully delivering complex projects with multiple technical and non-technical dependencies
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with an ability to influence and lead technical teams
  • Proactive approach to identifying and resolving complex technical issues
