User Experience Designer Intern

As a User Experience Design Intern at Sartorius, you will have the opportunity to craft the online experience for both existing and prospective customers seeking laboratory products and services that support their scientific research. Collaborate with a talented team of digital marketing professionals to enhance and optimize the buying journey for thousands of website visitors dedicated to answering the world’s most challenging scientific and medical questions.
Minimum 25 hours a week.

What you will accomplish together with us:

  • Translate product and application marketing content into high-performing web pages
  • Manage and maintain an outstanding user experience throughout assigned campaign web areas
  • Use analytics tools to assess page performance and turn insights into opportunities
  • Utilize SEO best practices to affect page ranking on search engine results pages
  • Translate stakeholder feedback into solutions
  • Creatively troubleshoot website issues by leveraging web tools, colleagues, and our incident ticketing system
  • Utilize Asana project management software to track, update, and complete assigned tasks

What will convince us:

  • Background in graphic design, web design, or computer science
  • Experience building web pages using HTML, page building software, and/or a web content management system (WCMS)
  • Ability to work a minimum of 25 hrs. a week
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office applications such as Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Ability to analyze and interpret data to gain insights

Compensation for this position will be $18 hr.
