We’re looking for a Compliance Manager

The Compliance Manager is responsible for partnering with the VP, Compliance to mature and administer Entrust’s compliance program.  The Manager, Compliance is organized, efficient, and flexible; thrives in a fast-paced environment; and welcomes challenge and change.

How you will make an impact: 

The following represent the key responsibilities of the role as they exist today.  This role may expand to include responsibilities in additional areas of compliance that may be new to the Manager, Compliance as the program evolves.

Governance

  • Lead Records Management Program to include maintaining the Global Records Retention Policy and accompanying Records Retention Schedule, hosting an annual records clean-up day and coordinating with external counsel to ensure appropriate records management practices are in place
  • Lead Global Policy Management Program to include managing Policy Governance Board and ensuring all global policies are reviewed and updated annually
  • Assist VP, Compliance in setting agendas, maintaining minutes and facilitating meetings of compliance-related senior leadership committees
  • Assist VP, Compliance in preparing periodic reports to the Audit Committee on the state of Entrust’s compliance program
  • Assist with periodic internal audits and risk assessments of the enterprise-wide compliance program and other areas of compliance owned by the VP, Compliance

Anti-Corruption

  • Manage third-party due diligence processes, including automated due diligence platform, to mitigate anti-corruption risk
  • Perform legal assessments related to red flags arising during the due diligence process including coordination with VP, Compliance and General Counsel to evaluate risks

Training & Communication

  • Create and deliver targeted training to colleagues on key compliance topics as needed
  • Create and deliver targeted communications to colleagues on key compliance topics as needed
  • Execute annual awareness campaigns (e.g., Corporate Compliance & Ethics Week)

Reporting Hotline

  • Partner with Legal to provide best practice advice to HR on how to conduct internal investigations
  • Serve as administrator for Entrust’s third-party hotline management system
  • Compile quarterly hotline metrics report for presentation to the Audit Committee

Other

  • Serve as Compliance team liaison for cross-functional processes as needed (e.g., supplier onboarding due diligence processes)
  • Participate with Internal Audit on enterprise risk management activities related to compliance risks
  • Partner with the VP, Compliance to continuously grow and improve Entrust’s compliance program
  • Stay abreast of changes in legal/regulatory requirements that may impact Entrust
  • Help to manage and triage general compliance inboxes
  • Participate in special projects related to compliance as neede

Basic Qualifications:

  • BA or BS required
  • 4+ years of applicable experience
  • Understanding of, and experience with, elements of an effective compliance program
  • Must be able to lawfully work within the US and have unrestricted work authorization for US

Preferred Qualifications:

  • JD preferred but not required
  • Compliance certifications
  • Adept at working with and learning new technologies/systems
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environment, multi-task and prioritize
  • Experience with systems reporting and metrics
  • Experience developing internal processes and procedures
  • Experience with project management
  • Team player with strong people skills and ability to work with a variety of internal and external customers High proficiency with Excel and other Microsoft Office Applications
