In this role, you’ll work closely with internal and external partners, lead strategic projects to support this goal, and embed DE&I across our company.
What You’ll Do
- Partner with the VP of DE&I and Amex GBT leaders to shape global efforts, aligned to GBT behaviors across all areas of the business
- Serve as the primary liaison for internal DE&I programs such as INclusion Groups and country ambassadors
- Collaborate with Global Talent to ensure that DE&I activities supply to the advancement of the global talent strategy, including: performance management, leadership development, succession planning, retention, mentoring programs, recruitment, and more
- Influence our diversity and inclusion story internally and externally. Build content, and monitor presence on internal and external sites
- Analyze and monitor performance data on company diversity goals, market trends, and benchmarks, and identify improvement opportunities
- Evaluate Amex GBT practices, and eliminate barriers for colleagues to participate in our communities and work environment
- Partner with Sustainability team to implement key initiatives, including the annual ESG report and EcoVadis audit
- Assist with building a strong public network and presence in the DE&I community
- Support Amex GBT in achieving recognition as a global diverse ‘employer of choice’ by achieving acknowledgement in select DE&I related awards and rankings
What We’re Looking For
- 8+ years of experience in developing, implementing and measuring strategic programs related to global talent management, HR, learning and development, or communications
- DE&I or ESG experience preferred
- Strong collaborator, with a focus on encouraging collaboration
- Open-minded to new insights, and able to help others have the same learning mentality
- Able to influence and lead change in partnership with multiple cross-functional partners
- Excellent writing and presentation skills to various levels of leadership
- Strong project / program management skills
- Track record of innovative thought leadership and creative problem solving
- Expert in gathering, analyzing and communicating insights from data
- A skilled meeting facilitator with experience crafting and leading learning experiences
- Ability to work across geographies and cultures
- Flexibility to travel up to 10% of the time
