Job Description
As an Office Administrator focusing on Indigenous grant writing, you’ll play a crucial role in our client’s mission to secure funding for meaningful projects. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to impactful work while developing your skills in research, project coordination, and document preparation. You’ll be supporting a specialized team in crafting compelling grant proposals, conducting targeted research, and ensuring smooth project management. Responsibilities

  • Conduct in-depth research to support grant writing initiatives for Indigenous communities
  • Draft and refine templated documents for persuasive grant proposals
  • Assist with project coordination, ensuring timely completion of grant applications
  • Prepare and organize critical documents for team use, maintaining meticulous filing systems
  • Support backend administrative tasks to streamline the grant writing process
  • Collaborate with team members to gather and synthesize information for proposals
  • Help track project timelines and deadlines, ensuring all grant requirements are met
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of grant writing processes and templates

Requirements

  • Strong research skills with the ability to find and synthesize relevant information quickly
  • Excellent writing and editing abilities, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy
  • Proficiency in document preparation and formatting using various software tools
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Adaptability and willingness to learn about Indigenous issues and grant writing specifics
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote setting
  • Basic understanding of project management principles
  • Passion for supporting Indigenous communities and social impact initiatives
  • Familiarity with grant writing processes is a plus, but not required
