EquipmentShare is searching for an entry level Product Manager supporting our Enterprise Technology team out of the corporate office in Columbia, MO (or remote) to support our team as the department continues to grow. EquipmentShare is searching for a Product Owner to manage the project portfolio and administrative functions of the Business Systems team. This new team member may be based anywhere in the United States and offers a remote/hybrid work option, but must be able to meet with management in person at least quarterly.
Primary Responsibilities
- Work closely with IT, People Systems and Financial System leadership as well as other stakeholders to ensure large scale inflight projects are on track.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and anticipate their needs and translate them into product requirements.
- Manage the product backlog and prioritizing the tasks based on changing company goals and initiatives.
- Oversee the entire product/project development cycle from ideation to stabilization.
- Lead and monitor sprint and sprint meetings.
- Understanding and synthesizing the needs of our and Enterprise Technology customers.
- Developing a shared product vision and strategy in partnership with internal stakeholders.
- Partnering with Project Managers to ensure our portfolio of product roadmaps meets the needs of the business.
- Create the business case and rationale for product investments.
- Ensure the successful delivery of products/features.
- Continuously improve the Product Owner team and function.
- Advise subject matter experts to drive the best outcomes.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 5+ years’ experience in product management, with a proven track record of building and launching software products from zero to one.
- Desire to thrive in a high-paced environment. The individual must be organized and able to manage multiple projects with competing priorities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to speak on behalf of leadership.
- SaaS experience is required.
- Experience developing presentations to management.
- Strong ability to adapt and be flexible within the scope of a given project as vision, priorities, and timelines shift.
- Product problem-solving skills: ideating, creating, and evaluating solutions to customer needs.
- Business acumen: ability to evaluate market opportunities, calculate ROI, align product roadmaps to business goals, define OKRs, and create business cases for product investments.
- Experience with handling multiple priorities.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and influencing and motivating teams with no direct authority over them.
