Sr. Solution Engineer

As a Solutions Engineer, you will be a key partner for our Enterprise Sales team during customer acquisition and expansion. You will build customer relationships and share your product and technical expertise through deep discovery, presentations, product demonstrations, and technical evaluations (customer trials), and maintain responsibility for the technology-focused portions of the sales cycle.

As a Salesforce DevSecOps and Data expert, you will work with clients to understand their Technical Problems, Business Pain and opportunity, and then design the right solution for their business. During the sales cycle you will guide clients through demos and trials, illustrating FLOSUM’s ability to meet and exceed their expectations while building a positive relationship that will provide continuous value to our customers.

And you’ll have a say! Flosum Solution Engineers work cross-functionally with our Product Management and Engineering teams, sharing knowledge and experiences to ultimately improve our products and drive customers success.

We’re looking for empathetic and innovative Solution Engineers who want to use their technology and people skills to help deliver solutions to clients directly and become a trusted advisor in the process. Above all else, you should be self-motivated and extremely curious to learn more about FLOSUM and the vast array of problems we can solve for Salesforce DevSecOps and data management.

Responsibilities

● Partner with the Account Executives to understand customer challenges and opportunities, and articulate FLOSUM’s value proposition, vision, and strategy to customers.

● Run the ‘Technical Fit’ Process – Explore, Validate and Quantify Current State Technical Problems and Challenges.

● Get hands on with FLOSUM products to prove out customer use cases.

● Build credibility with technical champions at prospects and customers.

● Orchestrate all phases of the Technical cycle, including leading technical validations and POC’s during the Evaluation phase.

● Be successful working with all levels of an organization, from Executives down to individual developers and Release Managers.

● Deliver product and technical demonstrations of the FLOSUM Platform.

● Work cross functionally with Product Management and Engineering to improve the FLOSUM Platform on your experience with customers.

Requirements

● Demonstrable understanding of Salesforce administration and development

● Strong presentation and product demonstration skills..

● Inquisitive, practical and passionate about technology and sharing knowledge.

● Experience in a Solutions Engineer, Solutions Architect, Sales Engineer, or Software Development role.

● Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced startup environment.

● Strong written and verbal communication skills, as well as business and technical acumen.

Comfortable learning business value concepts.
