A Director of SMB Sales is responsible for the successful execution of SMB strategy in the region. They are responsible for forecasting business and marketing needs to ensure that their team of AE’s achieves monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets.

What you’ll do:
- Ownership of the full sales cycle from lead to close with SMB business customers
- Lead a team of SMB Account Executives to achieve bookings targets.
- Build and grow pipeline, accurately forecast, develop existing and new relationships within your account’s SOI
- Generating ARR from renewal & expand business and meeting & exceeding revenue growth targets
- Build strong internal partnerships particularly with Customer Success, Pre-Sales, Professional Services, Marketing and Legal teams
- Formulate and implement a strategic sales strategy, lead territory & account planning based on Pluralsight’s Value Selling Methodology and reporting/analytics to improve and measure performance and efficiency
Experience you’ll bring:
- Experience in SaaS sales / sales management experience with a track record of consistent annual sales goal achievement
- Experience developing sales pipelines; penetrating new accounts and growing existing accounts within a relationship selling environment
- Consistent record of meeting annual sales goals, pipeline generation, developing new opportunities and managing sales pipelines in a scale-up environment
- Experience using Salesforce CRM, sales analytics and funnel management techniques to drive productivity
- Expertise in sales training (i.e. Solution-Selling, Strategic Selling and/or Value Selling)
- Travel required

- Requires a minimum of 12 years of related or equivalent experience; or 8+ years and an advanced degree.
Travel Requirements:
While Pluralsight operates under a remote and hybrid work model, we believe that in-person connection and collaboration are important. Recurring travel to our HQ in Utah may be required depending on the role and team member location.
