The first line Risk team within Commercial Bank is responsible for the governance and tactical execution of owning and managing risk, optimizing risk and return, and enabling sound growth with speed for the business. As part of this team, the Sr. Analyst has responsibility for identifying and developing frameworks, implementing appropriately within the line of business, and maintaining oversight and reporting as required. This also includes understanding regulatory impacts, industry perspective and Key’s own risk policies. The role requires an individual who demonstrates the ability to influence others, build meaningful relationships across the organization, act with a sense of urgency, and has solid communication skills.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Analysts build transferrable skillsets by creating high-quality presentations, conducting analysis that supports risk functions and business, facilitating product risk functions, managing client & product projects, and conducting industry research. Primary job functions include:
- Support and enhance the governance of the first line Risk team through a variety of means including reporting, KPIs, benchmarking, high risk client reviews, and cross-functional product and risk forums
- Support active management of risk disciplines including credit, operational and AML/ compliance risk management across product and/or client portfolio
- Support development of a sound culture of managing risk throughout Enterprise Payments business by developing and enhancing training to support enterprise risk awareness, and the client escalation and resolution processes
- Partner with internal and external partners to incorporate learnings from across the bank and the industry to calibrate our payments risk strategies and capabilities
- Leverage peers to build understanding of risk framework throughout Commercial Bank
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Economics, Accounting, Data Sciences, Business Analytics, Information Systems, Mathematics
- 2+ years of experience in business analytics, financial modeling, strategy, or consulting
- Ability to synthesize, create and clearly communicate complex topics in PowerPoint
- Experience in Excel with an ability to manage large data sets, creating summary views using pivots tables, data graphs/visualizations
- Experience with Tableau
- A high degree of adaptability, energy and intellectual curiosity
- Ability to problem-solve and think strategically
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Focus on teamwork and collaboration
- Strong work ethic, positive attitude,
- Strong attention to detail, quality, speed and accuracy
- Ability to multitask and work well under pressure

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Any risk certifications such as CAMS a plus
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
This position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $80,000 to $95,000 annually depending on location and job-related factors such as level of experience. Compensation for this role also includes eligibility for short-term incentive compensation and deferred incentive compensation subject to individual and company performance.
Key has implemented a role-based Mobile by Design approach to our employee workspaces, dedicating space to those whose roles require specific workspaces, while providing flexible options for roles which are less dependent on assigned workspaces and can be performed effectively in a mobile environment. As a result, this role may be Mobile or Home-based, which means you may work primarily either at a home office or in a Key facility to perform your job duties.
