Manager research

Quilter uses the services of a vendor solution to manage the Manager Research and Due Diligence process and data gathering.  The solution was introduced at the start of 2024 and since then the core business processes have been implemented.  We now intend to enhance the usage of the service and, in particular, introduce additional reporting outputs from the solution and migrate historical research information into the system.  The role will:

• Work with Head of Manager Research to agree finalised versions of research reports.
• Work with Head of Manager Research and service provider to build analytics dashboards.
• Manage the build-out and delivery (including testing) of these reports & dashboards with our service provider.
• Advance the incorporation of research history into the tool.

Stewardship and engagement

Quilter also uses the services of a vendor solution to manage the Responsible Investment Stewardship and Engagement process.  The solution has been implemented and we now need to build the solution business processes and data flows.  The role will:

• Work with the Head of Responsible Investment and senior team members to agree the business process enhancements required.
• Work with internal departments to ensure the delivery of appropriate data flows into the system.
• Manage the delivery of process improvements across internal teams and the service provider.

For both systems:

Support the business areas to:

• Complete business readiness for systems implementation (Dasseti and ESGaia)
• Develop procedures and controls, including system(s) maintenance.
• Through a comparison of both systems, consider advantages and disadvantages of utilising the research system to support stewardship activities.

About You

• The successful candidate is likely to be experienced in the processes undertaken by an investment research function, including preparation of reporting outputs.
• Knowledge of vendor research solutions would be an advantage but is not essential if the candidate has strong and relevant business and functional knowledge.
• The candidate must be methodical and analytical in their approach.
• The candidate will be delivery minded and able to work at pace to produce the outcomes needed.
