Position Overview

Trashie is looking for a proven digital marketer to lead our affiliate marketing & rewards marketplace program. The right candidate should be a self-starter with a strong analytical, consumer, and technology background, a proven track record of acquiring new customers, and has successfully managed, and optimized affiliate and rewards programs to drive significant growth. The ideal candidate will have considerable market knowledge with experience negotiating partnership opportunities in a business development setting. Our team members will be creative, data-driven, and well-versed in differentiating strategies to win in a competitive rewards marketplace.

Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Affiliate Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for leading and developing our affiliate marketing & rewards marketplace strategy to drive business growth. This role involves identifying and nurturing key partnerships, negotiating and managing contracts with affiliates, and optimizing campaign performance to maximize ROI. You will oversee the day-to-day operations and revenue generation from the Trashie rewards marketplace, including the recruitment of new rewards partners, managing relationships with existing partners, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and company policies. Additionally, you will analyze data to provide insights and recommendations for improving our rewards marketplace efforts, collaborate with cross-functional teams to align on promotional strategies, and stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to maintain a competitive edge.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in affiliate marketing, with at least 5 years in a similar role
  • Strong understanding of performance marketing, conversion, and online customer acquisition
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and manage affiliate marketing & marketplace strategies and programs
  • Excellent negotiation skills and experience managing affiliate & rewards partnerships
  • Proficiency in analytics tools and platforms, such as Google Analytics, and affiliate marketing platforms
  • Strong business development experience & the ability to build working relationships with affiliate agencies & networks
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
  • Must have a “no task is too small” mentality and the ability to thrive within a fast-paced startup environment, balance competing priorities, and create structure and processes.
