The team
Do you have a passion for all aspects of event planning and travel? Are you incredibly detail oriented – while also bringing creative ideas to the table? Do you love meeting new people, giving amazing client service and traveling the world?

As a key part of Kraken’s internal Travel and Events team, your role will extend across the wider business, with strong partnerships required across functions and teams.
The opportunity
Plan and lead our in-person retreat and working session experiences that bond our colleagues and allow them to experience a global perspective
Manage relationships with our global suppliers and partner with them to develop innovative and engaging activities and evenings tailored to diverse crowds
Coordinate and oversee all details and logistics, from sourcing all the way through to final billing reconciliation
Provide support to our traveling colleagues, ensuring travel-related questions are addressed swiftly, as they navigate our travel booking platform.
Partner and communicate with stakeholders at all levels
Skills you should HODL
A minimum of 3-5 years in event planning, particularly with incentive trips and/or corporate events. Additionally, an understanding hours may at times be outside of a typical 9am – 5pm, with some weekends required
Familiarity with travel logistics, including booking systems and vendor management
Demonstrated experience in building and maintaining strong client relationships
Experience working in cross-functional teams to deliver cohesive and successful events. It takes a village!
Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met and objectives are achieved
Understanding of diverse cultures and customs, enhancing the experience for international colleagues
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage and negotiate with colleagues, vendors and stakeholders
Meticulous in planning and execution – you understand it’s all about the details
Cvent proficiency is a must, with Google Workspace knowledge as a plus
And of course… Travel! Ability to pack up and travel the world (up to 30%), while maintaining a full workload. We promise -your days (and working locations) will never get boring!
Nice to haves
CMP (Certified Meeting Professional), CIS (Certified Incentive Specialist) or similar are a plus
